Reading Text 

I choose a story from ER Central title The Finding the One by Diane, level 10.10, genre love and relationship, factual with 501 words.


The story Finding the One tell about looking for a person that we will to spend the rest of our lives is hard, so they say. But the thing is that we must just let it run its course. As we grow older, we will see many thing. While growing up, we Will meet many people who will make our heart happy. The perfect song that I chose for a story "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. A perfect song was released in 2017.

The song is suitable to the story because of lyrics like “I found a love for me” and “I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know.” Both the story Finding the One and the song Perfect talk about finding your soulmate  someone who is the perfect match and completes you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. They describe the feeling of awe when you realize you've met "the one."

Tells the story of a young raccoon named Chester who is nervous about starting school and being away from his mother for the first time.To comfort him, Chester's mother shares a family secret called the "kissing hand." She kisses the palm of his hand and tells him that whenever he feels lonely or scared, he can press his hand to his cheek and feel her love, as if she were there with him. The song that i choose for a story " You are my sunshine" by Christina Perri.  A You are my sunshine song was released in 2019.

The song is suitable to the story because The song “I’ve Got a Kissing Hand” is suitable for the story The Kissing Hand because it directly connects to the main message and emotional heart of the story: a parent's love that stays with a child even when they are apart.

Lirycs like : You are my sunshine My only sunshine You make me happy when Skies are gray  You'll never know dear how much I love you the other night, dear as i laid sleeping i dreamed i helped you in my arms.

 The stories come from different countries in Africa. A story from Malawi, retold by Jennifer Bassett. The story tell in South Africa life is not kind to Dadi-Ma. Where can she take her little grandson, to give him a better life. Her problem get worse and worse, but one thing does not change-her love for her grandson. And the only people in her life were grandchild, chotoo and friend Ratnadevi Dadi-Ma, old and tired was left to watch the world go by. I chose these scene because they caught the train for Durban to seek her friend Ratnadevi. And at last they where the right place. Dadi-Ma's dark eyes started around her, it was all new and strange. Dadi-Ma felt so tired, so tired. Now could feel a pain inside her body, and all down her arms. But Chotoo saw Dadi-Ma's face, and for his time in his life ha was really afraid-afraid for her future, afraid of losing Dadi-Ma. She was the only person in his life, the only person who loved him.
